Today I bought a little silver potty pottery pig. She has a slot on the top of her back, so I guess you could call her a potty pottery piggy slot! So, when hubby came home he asked me what was the point of that?
I told him, that is to save to pay for our next cruise together in 2013. He laughed, but the smile soon wore off when I told him it was to pay for my half of the ticket price!
Moral of story... save for the good times :) If not you get left behind! remember the world is our oyster to enjoy, and we can only do this when we are young enough to enjoy it!

I love Bloodlife's quote in his recent journal entry called, 'Judged' "When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.
Wayne Dyer
It reminds me of what people are, when they rant about others. Not a very nice person.

Sometimes I have to laugh at myself when I re-read what I have wrote in my journal as it sounds at times well... so pompous and outspoken! which is nearly the opposite of what I am in real life ! Oh well, it gives me a giggle reading back on some entries. However it shows you can't suss a person out purely by what they do and say online. The majority of my journal entries over the years have mostly been deleted now. .. That's a Godsend as I either winced, or died laughing when I read them!

As most people here who know me, know I do not drink spirits but indulge in a glass of wine or two instead. Mmmm, well tonight at a friends she did not have any wine, so she talked me into a glass of Malibu and cherry coke. It was yummy! I am tempted I might stray from the familiar because it was licious lol!

Sun! We have SUN in Ireland today! Duh, and dark clouds too.. But the sun broke through that dismal blanket of grey for a change! I might put my Welles on and go for a walk in the woods. Never know who I may bump in to! Maybe Peter Dinklage again.. Least this time I will know who he is when I met him!

My second almost instant thought was, well.. if you live in Ireland you are also lucky, as you will never die from skin cancer! The torrential rains are AWESOME! great filming weather for Game of Thrones Season 3 though! Winterfell, sweet Winterfell.. how I love thee.

I stopped on the way home and bought a bottle of, 'Fat bastard' to celebrate one of the biggest contracts my Company has ever won! I am so excited, I want to scream it from the rooftops! It's the biggest site in Belfast earmarked for the development of nursing homes, apartments, supermarket and community buildings.
The Administrator's of the land made their decision of all the tenders, and I won! WOW! Just WOW! Still taking the enormousness of it in! WOW!

I took Dad down his Father's day present, and I think he was tickled pink with the hand-made chocolates that I bought him as he started to eat them right away! We had a good chat, and after I headed up to the gym to do some weights and to participate in the swiss ball class. That was hilarious! Have you ever tried squats with a swiss ball behind you while holding out two six kg weights? Instructor said, 'Hold for ten' and well me, I thought my knees and arms were going to break in half on the count of five never mind ten!
Presently I am cooking a chicken and plan to serve it with olive oil drizzled mediterrean vegetables *yum* and maybe a glass of sauvignon blanc.
This evening we off to the cinema to see, 'Red Lights' It has an exciting cast, however, there are mixed reviews about the movie online. We shall see. Like everyone else, I like to make my own mind up about things :) Later's boyyahs' x

Really today was wonderful as it was bliss to see my sister happy and radiant :) I took her down to Sligo today and left her in the shopping mall when I went to audit for three hours.
We had such a ball together on the way home.. we did three pub crawls.. she had guinness and because I was driving I drank shandy. We stopped in a quirky quaint little pub called, 'Biddy's' just outside of Donegal, and a hotel called, 'Kee's' in Ballybofey. Kee's Hotel is still owned by the family, and we took pictures of our great grandmother whose picture still hangs on the wall there along with the tapestries she made.
Then we had a chinese dinner in Derry, and visited our old homestead.. and just reminsced about our childhood. It really was such a special day. It is good to spend time with those who are close, and loved.

Uh huh...Something doesn't stack up right....
Same-sex marriage in the United States is not recognized by the federal government, but such marriages are recognized by six states. (reference Wikipedia) however; bestiality is allowed 18 States!
(Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming
Also, it is legal in the American Samoa and Guam)
I haven't looked up stats for other parts of the world.. and I am certaintly not a prude, but this sounds so totally amoral.
Ugh, just ugh.

Interesting.... 21:51:17 - Jun 11 2012 Times Read: 893
A woman who was abused on the internet has won court backing in her bid to gain the identities of those who targeted her.
Nicola Brookes, from Brighton, was falsely portrayed as a paedophile and drug dealer by internet trolls.
She has been granted a High Court order asking Facebook to reveal the IP addresses of people who had abused her so she can prosecute them.
Facebook has said there is no place for harassment on the site.
Ms Brookes said the abuse started after she posted a supportive message about X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza.
She said she suffered a barrage of abuse and one online bully created a fake profile in her name, which was used to send explicit messages to girls.
According to her solicitor, Rupinder Bains, trolls published her address and followed her on to other forums, including a recipe forum, to continue the abuse.
"Nicola is housebound so she uses social networking very frequently," she said.
"It's always there - it doesn't matter what she does, they are everywhere she is."
Rupinder Bains
Solicitor
Ms Bains said Facebook did not contest the order.
The website would have been in breach of data protection laws if it had handed over IP details without a court order.
Ms Bains said: "In order to obtain it there's quite a high threshold that we have to meet.
"Basically we need to show it's in the interests of justice... we need to prove the third party, namely Facebook, isn't just a mere witness but is in fact involved in the wrongdoing, albeit innocently, but they are involved.
"We were able to meet that criteria and hence the order was granted."
'Legal obligations'
Facebook confirmed it would hand over the IP addresses and basic subscriber information requested in the order.
As the subscriber information might not be correct, it would be up to Ms Brookes to obtain a further court order to compel internet service providers to reveal which people the IP addresses are connected to.
She would then be able to launch legal action.
A spokesman for Facebook said: "There is no place for harassment on Facebook, but unfortunately a small minority of malicious individuals exist online, just as they do offline.
"We respect our legal obligations and work with law enforcement to ensure that such people are brought to justice."
