Well, it is Halloween today. Happy Halloween everyone :). Tonight hubby and I are just having a special steak dinner in, as we wouldn't want to miss the trick n' treaters! I have a whole bundle of apples to make into toffee apples for the kiddies :)
Luv toffee apples, haven't had one for ages.
Happy Halloween sweetie :-)

Having had a close encounter with the spirit world a while back, it came as no surprise when the medium last night sparked tears of joy and grief with the audience when the spirits of their loved ones communicated to them through her.
Margaret Hurdman was spectular, and I was no impressed that I even bought one of her books. (To be continued, I have lunch ready)

Thirteen of Jane Austen’s most celebrated female characters are brought to life in this bold revisiting of the most exciting moments from Austen’s ‘two inches of ivory’ and it is playing at my local Theatre on 15th November! Really, I cannot wait for this performance and it has been a sell out at the Edinburgh and Adelaide festivals :)
Oooooooh lucky lucky girl. I would love to see those. Awesome :)

Teaching class tomorrow, which makes for a tough day standing for most of eight hours. I should be able to sit down, but I am one of those walkaround kind of tutors. It usually helps burn off a few calories, if nothing else :). Thennnnnn... The weekend! And Halloween! @@ WOOT!
All right class...can we all sing a little "Hot For Teacher" for Miss Emaerald? Lucky kids!

Touch typing on a small mobile phone makes for difficult writing up of journal entries when you do not have a magnifying glass around! The iPad is much easier..bigger spaces between the letters :) very helpful indeed :)
Well Dublin has flooded which is beyond belief. So glad it is not this weekend we are going away there!
I'll probably never get an iPad- but in January I hope to get that Kindle Fire (which in an Android tablet)... and it has the bigger touch keys as well.

I changed from iPhone to the Galaxy S2 Android phone, and I am wondering if there are any other S2 users out there? I am utterly amazed at the clarity of the screen and how much quicker it operates compared to the iPhone. To be honest, I was dissapointed in the new iPhone 4S and I believe the Galaxy S2 is a much superior product.
For those who are into the things I am into, you would need both an Apple and an Android product. I do not have an iPhone, I have the iPod touch 4~ you don't miss out on anything iPhone owners have with one. I use so many apps- and prefer web browsing on Safari, but I can only use it (web browsing) via wifi. I still have it loaded with music and movies.
My current Android is very basic (although not outdated- I just don't like this particular one), in 4 months when I am eligible for an upgrade, I will get a new one. I can't afford to get one until they are offered at very low prices due the the rebates you get for signing a new contract, and then they allow you to make payments on the little you do have to pay and it's just tacked on to your regular bill. When that time comes, I want the HTC Amaze.
Safari is so cool to browse on, I agree.. but someone here got me into using the browser Skyfire for my iPad. I love that one too :)
I was fortunate I did not download a load of aps for my iphone, but what I do have hubby will put on his backup iPhone. ( I am selling my iphone 3GS if you know anyone who wants to buy it before it goes on ebay) He uses the HTC at the moment though, but I think he is seriously thinking of changing to the Galaxy S2 when his contract is due for renewal :)
My phone has been playing up in a big way and so I just ordered the new Sony Xperia.
My Samsung's touch screen didn't want to be 'touched' anymore so this new phone has the extra of a slide out querty key-pad too.
Yes, HTC has several different models- the one I want has just been released for T-Mobile USA. I compared it with the Galaxy S2 and it actually has better reviews. I'm not sure if this specific one is over in Ireland.
21st October, end of the world.. it's today!!! 19:33:27 - Oct 21 2011 Times Read: 461
Do you remember the end of the world that was due on May 21st 2011? Well, I have news for you Harold Camping realized he made a mistake and it is today instead! So... are you ready to met the end?
For those who follow Christianity:
Somewhere in the Bible, it states that only God can know the day and hour of the future...not his Son, not the angels...and certainly, not mankind.
...and so they begin. There was a load of these last year. My fav was the car quietly driving down a country road coming towards the screen with the message can you recognize the driver!!
Key fact of Life - When people cut you down, or talk behind your back.. remember they took time out of their pathethic little lives, to think about you.
Yoo! went to Dublin yesterday.. checked into Trinity College but couldn't see the Daire anywhere! Had a fabulous time though.. and can't wait until Halloween until I get to go down again. Thinking of going to a Hellfire Club event.. I be afraid, very afraid!
I'd love to get out to Dublin. I think Ireland is blessed with so much beauty .... and that's not the girls I'm talking about as that is already obvious!

This entry below makes me wonder what on earth did long distance drivers do in the days before mobile phones, bluetooth and cloud technology? AND Whoever said working your own biz was easy?? I drove for 582 miles today!! Home to Mulligar/Dubin/Belfast to Home. THAT is a huge drive for me! So glad, I had I have the music system I do have, and bluetooth for chat! I heard some new groovy new tunes today :) I heart my Sorrento!
Mix tapes/CDs. That's what I did on many cross country trips (2,620 mile trips). We had a lot of fun- just listening to music we brought with us. And payphones were all over the place then if we needed to reach someone. Today is a lot easier than it ever was, and even though I love technology- I do miss the effort of the older days.
Have you ever loved something, but hate doing it at the same time? Or, am I just weird! Let me tell you what this is about... I am on a complete health drive, I workout for at least a hour every day if my work is in town. Being a lifestyle choice I have done for years and years. I adore going to the gym, I detest being put through all the hard work in doing the weights, but love the after burn it gives me. Then I get insatible and can't wait until I do it all over again! Maybe I am just taking the mickey out of myself heh!? I sure don't know. Well gotta go, Steve the trainer hunk is waiting with the boxing gloves for me.. (I like that.. the weights come after) lol
percentage body fat way down S, I aced it! Looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow morning :)

Holding a grudge is like letting someone live rent free in your head. I was guilty of this at one stage in my life. But it was all a waste of personal time, and never did me any good. So, that lesson was learned early in life. If you can it's best to let what ever is bothering you wash over you, learn from the experience and then move on. Why waste mental space on something that never meant much anyway.
We buried another close family member last week :(. Things have been tough, that is two gone in two months. Moments of togetherness never to be had again.
