Someone I worked with previously asked me to take some photos of her son. Kids are fun to work with, as long as you're patient and don't push them too hard.
Pai helped out too! He did tricks to keep the kiddo laughing.
I did get permission from his mother to post the image online. ^.^
This past Sunday we shot in a graveyard. Graveyards are something I avoid... They are, in my mind, mostly cliche and overdone.
Buffalo has a beautiful graveyard with monuments from the 1800s, so when that sort of atmosphere was requested I immediately thought of the mausoleums there.
This one was creepy, even for me. The structure was dated 1897 and you could see IN to it through the carvings on the doors. I went up and peeked inside for about 3 seconds before having to turn away. Seriously. I'm a chicken about that.
This shot is actually a sort of extra or outtake if you will, but I like it all the same.

My first ever book cover. It's been an awesome experience and I have Cancer to thank for the referral. He is one pretty nice dude.
I also have to thank VampireWitch39 for her awwwesome background image. Yup. She rules.
Yesterday was very warm, with a strong breeze. A perfect day to do a quiet photoshoot with Kayta.
We need some "natural" special effects makeup on her, turning her from a raven haired beauty into a red head.
The wig, generously donated, was so long and lovely, we decided that she didn't need to wear anything else.
