...but I just helped him trouble shoot devices using old DOS commands...

Today's randomness...
...all the visitors this week have left my office as of 11:30 this morning.... THANK JEEBUS!
...I've hit my threshold of spending $1000 today... got 3 servers off of E-Bay. Pretty good deals to get 3 for $1000 instead of one of these for $9000....
.....there is a box of Tim Horton's coffee on the desk behind me. A whole box. No one else is here to drink it. I might just induce a heart-attack today if someone doesn't take this away...
...next trip, Wednesday to Louisville, again. Yet again... but after this I might not travel again until the end of June... whoa... what the hell am I going to do if I'm not collecting frequent flyer miles?

Housekeeping...

I must discuss housekeeping with the employees tomorrow.
Too many messes left around at the end of the day. We don't have a maid service here. We're all adults -if someone spilled sugar on the counter making their coffee (or tea) they should know enough to clean it up before the ants decide to.
Not like I don't have enough to clean with the assploding toilet and all the packing supplies from deliveries... gah.
I need an agenda for tomorrow's meeting... I think this might top the list.

Anyway, it is surprising to see at least 50% of people who have added me to their friend list still haven't replaced their Avatar picture since the March Meltdown.

I spent the vast majority of the afternoon picking dirt out of the root-ball of the fallen pine tree in my back yard.
It left a huge hole when it toppled. The roots are still clinging to as much Earth as they can hold. The root ball will be to large and cumbersome to move with all the dirt on it...
...so.. yeah. Swinging an axe. Picking at the dirt with a shovel, a bar and a hammer...
After all the work I did Saturday, everything hurts now... I won't bitch, I just need some sleep.
Maybe my feelings of being completely annoyed will go away with a good night sleep too....

So I had a busy day... mowing mostly... first time all year it's been dry enough, and the weather was good enough, and I was actually in town and could do it...
..it was more like taming the lawn than mowing it.
Then I had to go to the office and mow there too. The lawn was horrible. Obviously not cared for by the previous owners since they were foreclosed on in September.
But... the wonderful surprise... I get to the office and Morri is there... cleaning, straightening, organizing... on a Saturday afternoon.
Always putting in the extra effort.
She's amazing.
Virtually the only evidence I have against the phrase "you can't hire good help these days..."
