Heyy! I’m Rachel. I’m currently living in Huron, SD. I’m eighteen years old, old enough to know better and what’s wrong and right. I have a few friends on here and if you’re looking for someone to be friends with strike up a conversation and message me! I’m not that good at explaining stuff, so here we go.
One of the things that you should probably know about me is that I absolutely love reading. Reading a book puts me in that book and makes me feel like I’m one of the characters. I absolutely love reading new stuff. My favorite series would have to be the twilight series. My favorite book out of all four of them is Eclipse. Although I cried while I read all four of those books. I haven’t read much like some people have, but I can say that I’ve read my share. My next favorite book is Keeping you a secret by Julie Anne Peters. It’s about this girl, Holland, who meets Cece and in the end Holland finds herself and is a lesbian and Cece is her girlfriend.
My friends are the ones that keep me sane. I love every single one of them. They’re unique and amazing. I don’t know where I would be without the people I call my friends. I have two best friends. Darrell lives in Huron with me and Danko lives in Kranj, Slovenia. These two have been there for me no matter what has happened between us. I have close friends to me. When Darrell was gone for almost a year, I became really close to some people that made my school year amazing. Dylan and Christa were two of them. I may have gotten on their nerves, but they always seemed to talk to me. These two people are amazing. I love them both. :)
I love being on some kind of messenger. I’m usually always on msn. I love meeting new people. They amaze me. I love being on vr. When I got my membership two years ago, I never thought I’d stay on here. I’ve met many amazing people on here and I hope to meet some more. I’m not much of a talker, but once someone gets me talking, I usually won’t shut up. I’m very quiet, and excessively nice. I love calling people hun.
Kayy we’re moving onto the infamous dislikes (:. People that are mean; there’s millions of people in this world and if everyone was mean, then who would get along? People that are mean to my friends; again, if everyone was mean, then who would get along, and I usually don’t say this, but if someone’s mean to my friends, I’m gonna stick up for them and tell that person off. Homophobes; I could go on forever, but since I only have a little space to talk about myself, I’ll just keep it simple. I don’t like them. People that make fun of others; It’s just mean. I was made fun of during Highschool and it totally sucked. I know everyone makes fun of someone somehow, but why do it when you know it’s mean? Meanies; same with people that make fun of others; its mean. Fakes; I don’t know what to say here. I don’t like them. Mean teachers; I’m sure we’ve all had at least one mean teacher in our lives. We have to deal with it. (: People that don’t accept for who I am; well… if they don’t like me for who I am, then I guess that that’s their choice and they’re missing out on meeting me. People that don’t listen; I would have to say this is a definite pet peeve of mine. I don’t like it and I think it’s mean if people don’t listen. Brats, Haters, Thieves; they’re on my dislike list cause well why steal when you can buy it? Why hate if you don’t know who the person is? Brats are just rude. (: Rudeness; another lovely pet peeve of mine. People that are rude; well… it’s just rude! Rude names people call others; I understand if someone calls another a rude name and they’re friends and they’re just goofing around, but if someone’s walking in the hall and another person yells out a word, it’s mean. People who think gays shouldn't exist; Let me put this in a way these kind of people might understand; Homosexuals are people and they have feelings too! Being gay might be a sin, but they’re people too and I think some people should just keep their opinion to themselves. :) People that think they're better than others; You’re probably not better than anyone else. You put your pants on the same way I do, so get over yourself. (:people that are full of themselves; This goes with people that think they’re better than others; You put your pants on the same way I do, so get over it. 'Royal Bitches'; my friend Sam called Darrell that. I wanted to rip head off, but in the end it was alright… I don’t like them, and even though some people are, it’s okay. :) Ignorant People; arguing with someone that’s more sophisticated in something is just going to make you look like a fool. People that make themselves seem dumb to get attention; this one makes me angry. Why can’t people that do this just be themselves? The list goes on I promise.
I am very nice, loving, caring, funny, reliable, honest, a good listener, loyal, good company, good friend, and a ‘weirdo’.
Okay now that I’m done with half my profile, here comes the ‘fun’ stuff. :)
My friends mean the world to me. I love them all. As I’ve said above, I have two best friends, and a few real close friends. They keep me sane. If it weren’t for them, what I would be without them? They’re all amazing. I’m the one to push them out of the way if a car is coming. I look out for them and protect them. I’m also the one that laughs at them if they fall off a chair or something. I love them all.
I speak a little bit of German. I plan to be a German teacher. I love the language. When I told my mom that I wanted to take German, she told me to go for it. My brother’s dad told me that People in Huron don’t speak German, and I wanted to tell him to screw off. He told me to take Spanish because that’s what everyone else is taking. I don’t want to be like everyone else. It’s boring being like everyone else. I know that Spanish could probably get me a better job than German, but I took German, just live with it. I like German better than I like Spanish. I can speak a few words of Spanish, but I can’t have a conversation with a Spanish-speaking person.
In high school, I was in choir all four years. I’ve sung and danced in that class and I can actually admit after eight semesters that I actually hated dancing in that class. There were so many songs that I can’t remember, but I have to say my favorite song that I’ve sang was “the oxford carol”. It’s beautiful and amazing. I’ve sang Spanish, German, Latin, and Macedonian. Although they were hard to learn, people seemed to love them when we sang them. My favorite foreign language song was the German one, which is called “Bist du bei mir”.
I strongly support gay marriage. I think two people of the same sex that love each other should be able to marry. I also support their right to marriage. Heterosexuals can have like three or four and same sex couples can’t even have one. That’s not fair. Even though I’m not gay, I support them all the way and I think they should be able to marry. The world would end if they could get married. Although, four states now have same sex marriage is legal. We’re slowly moving up in the world. :)
I am bisexual. I am very proud of my sexuality. My mom doesn’t believe it. She thinks I just went through a phase. Well, I didn’t. Please don’t judge me on my sexuality. I promise I don’t like every girl or guy I see. All of my friends know that I am bi and they all seem to accept it well.
How I rate: I usually give everyone a ten so they won’t throw a fit. If I’m really bored I’ll read through one’s profile and rate it like I think it should be rated. I normally don’t rate below a seven, but there are profiles out there that I’ve given a one too. I can say I use all the numbers on the rating system when I’m bored. If I’m just in a hurry, I’ll just give them a ten. So please don’t throw a fit.
