I love learning. I always have. I have read so many books I could nearly fill a public library. That said, I have read quite a few rubbish ones too...
I also have to read huge amounts of text books for my studies which can get really, really boring so I am constantly looking for interesting things to do....thats one of the reasons I am here, I haven't had so much fun in ages....read my portfolio to find out more about me, and have a browse through my journal where I have a series of interviews with all my favourite VR members. These people make this place what it is...
What do I like? People, but quality, not quantity. People who do what they do well. I respect people who say what they feel even if I don't agree with them. I admire folk who struggle with the everyday things that the rest of us take for granted. I feel humbled by their determination to live as best as they can. I'm not sure I could do the same.
I appreciate honesty but I believe that little white lies are important in life. I hate needy people and I am NOT impressed with people who think they can lean on me for nothing in return. I believe in respect. I'm big on loyalty and honour. Hard work is what I thrive on. It really does not matter to me if you are a cleaner or the President as long as you earn your keep.
I love learning and being taught, because there is always something new to know. I love great artwork and that includes the ability to paint pictures with words - there is simply nothing better.
I do not like cats much they scare me, dogs however are great, especially the big ones. I hate bad manners, lateness, and folk who invade my personal space in public. I hate complainers and folk who demand my attention. I really hate it when folk feel they have a boring life, when life is what you make of it. Just get up and DO SOMETHING!
Being outside at night when the air is crisp and I see millions of stars really makes me aware of my humanity. I love the moon and I like nothing better than to be outside on a night where the full moon lights up the bay. Dawn when there is nobody else awake and all I can hear is silence and my beating heart is another favourite thing... it feels like the whole world is mine. Perhaps for these moments, it is...
